Johann Lafer visits Kappelrodeck

A very special day for the Scheibel distillery and its employees: star and TV chef Johann Lafer, known for his love of high-quality products and his culinary perfection, was a guest in Achertal. He was accompanied by a good friend, Robert Ziegler, Managing Director of C+C Neustadt and a long-standing customer of the distillery.

Despite his busy schedule in the stressful pre-Christmas period, Johann Lafer took the time to gain an insight into the Scheibel distillery . "It is a great honor for us that he visited us," emphasizes Michael Scheibel. "With his enthusiasm for perfection, passion and striving for something special, we feel connected to our products - an attitude that is also firmly anchored in our philosophy." The distillery has been working with Johann Lafer in various areas for some time now, including at his current live cooking events in Bad Homburg and Travemünde, where Scheibel products are an integral part of the culinary experience.

One of the highlights of the visit was certainly the personal contact with the employees. The bottling and packaging departments in particular were delighted when Johann Lafer stopped by and took the time to chat, take a look at the manual work area and take a snapshot together. The celebrity chef even added firewood himself in the historic "Alte Zeit distillery . Managing Director Raphael Sackmann commented with a grin: "We would add him to our team in a heartbeat."

Of course, there was a little culinary surprise for the TV chef: a slice of "Scheibel cake", the Black Forest cake without cream. This specialty is only served by the Scheibel family to employees on special occasions, such as birthdays, and also delighted Johann Lafer. Of course, a good shot of Scheibel kirsch is a must.

With his visit, Johann Lafer showed how important high-quality products and genuine craftsmanship are to him - values that have always characterized the Scheibel distillery . The day will be remembered by the employees and the company as an extraordinary experience.
